What happens at the event?

At WWMN, you can leave your pitch at the door. No mics, no awkward spotlight moments (if you know, you know). Our meet-ups are all about roundtable discussions, where we dive into a specific theme or tackle a common challenge together.

We kick things off and wrap up with plenty of time for casual networking and open chats, because that’s where the real magic happens. Want to share an upcoming event, shout about a project, or get advice? There’s space for that too. It’s all about creating meaningful connections without the pressure.

How much does it cost?

To join one of the regular meets it costs absolutely nothing. We encourage you to take the opportunity to grab a drink at the bar or some food if you're peckish, but you do not need to pay anything to attend. We just ask that you reserve your place and let us know if you can no longer make it.

Will it be weird to come on my own?

Not at all! Most women come solo, and plenty don’t know anyone beforehand. WWMN is all about creating a safe, inclusive, and friendly vibe, so there’s no need to stress if it’s your first time. That said, if you’d feel more comfortable bringing along a friend, family member, or colleague for moral support, they’re more than welcome!

Do I have to come to every meet?

There is no obligation to commit or attend every meet - we know that we all have busy lives. You're very much part of WWMN whether you come every time or join us every now and again. There are new faces at every meet which keeps it dynamic and exciting.

Is this just for business owners?

Definitely not. WWMN is about connecting a range of professional women from diverse careers and industries. Whether you've literally just graduated or beginning the next steps to retirement, we're a space for all women to connect and share their own insights on the professional world.

Because let’s face it, our experiences in the workplace are different. Women face unique challenges that often get overlooked, and WWMN is here to create a space where we can openly share, support, and celebrate each other without judgment. While men absolutely play a role in shifting outdated workplace norms, this group is about giving women the platform to explore those issues, amplify their voices, and step up as the advocates and change-makers we need.
